3. Our Services

WeBuyGoods.co.uk buys a wide range of electronic items across the UK. We accept fully working items and items for spares or repair. Our service includes:

  • Providing item-specific quotes.
  • Arranging UK-wide shipping with prepaid labels.
  • Offering a Greater Manchester pickup/drop-off service with optional cash payments.
  • Paying customers via bank transfer, PayPal, or cash (where applicable).

4. Eligibility

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or have guardian consent.
  • Be the lawful owner of the items.
  • Ensure items are free from finance, iCloud/Google locks, and not reported lost or stolen.

5. The Quoting Process

  • Quotes are based on the condition and description you provide.
  • They are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.
  • If the item's condition differs from your description, we may adjust the quote or return the item at no cost.

6. Condition Verification

We inspect all items upon receipt. If the item matches your description, we'll proceed with payment. If not, we will contact you with a revised offer. If you decline, the item will be returned to you.

We reserve the right to reject items that are counterfeit, contain personal data, or pose safety or legal risks.

7. Shipping and Risk

  • Parcels sent using our prepaid labels are insured up to a specified value (you will be informed of this before shipping).
  • You are responsible for secure packaging. We are not liable for damage caused by inadequate packaging.
  • Risk transfers to us once the item is received and signed for.

8. Pickup/Drop-Off Service

  • Our Greater Manchester service allows for arranged pickups or customer drop-offs.
  • Cash payment may be offered at the point of pickup/drop-off.
  • We reserve the right to verify condition before payment is made.

9. Payment

  • Processed within 1–2 working days after successful inspection.
  • Made via bank transfer, PayPal, or cash (Greater Manchester only).
  • You must ensure that your payment information is correct. We are not liable for payments sent to incorrect details provided by you.

10. Prohibited Items

We do not accept:

  • Items reported as stolen or blacklisted.
  • Devices with active security locks (e.g. iCloud, Google Account, MDM).
  • Counterfeit or replica electronics.
  • Items obtained via fraudulent means.

Violations will be reported to law enforcement and the device(s) will not be returned.

11. Your Responsibilities

You confirm that:

  • You have the legal right to sell the item.
  • All data has been erased from the device.
  • The item is accurately described during the quote process.
  • You agree not to misuse our services, submit fraudulent claims, or resell without title.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential loss.
  • Delays caused by third parties (e.g. couriers).
  • Losses due to incorrect payment information.
  • Loss of data if not removed prior to sale.

Our total liability is limited to the value agreed in the quote.

13. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, especially in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or breach of these Terms.

14. Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will take immediate effect upon being posted on our website. Continued use of the service indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
